The Jack Shealy Band is a southern-soul rock band from Ochopee, Florida.
Originally founded in 2004 as Red Dirt Mojo, the band transitioned throughout the years with several player lineups.
The sounds of southern-soul rock, American folk, and the swampy roots of old Florida echo in the bands’ live sound.
In 2012, Shealy took a hiatus from live performances to enter and enjoy fatherhood, also to begin pursuing
a professional career in tourism, marketing, television and film.
Music continued to play a part of Shealy’s life, hosting festivals & events at his venue in the swamps of South Florida.
2020 began to shine a light on things that were important for many of us.
“I realized how quick time passes and the how content I was giving time and staying true to myself
and something I was passionate about.”
The band began to make its’ way again, joining forces with former Arkansas bassist Jules Brown of Red Dirt Mojo and lifelong friend Rob Webber on drums.
In the Fall 2023 the JACK SHEALY BAND began to get booked amongst national headlining acts
and quickly built a grassroots following in the southeast.
Shealy’s authentic southern swagger, lyrics and storytelling have become a pillar of the bands live performances
