The Black Old Fashioned is a rebel of a cocktail, with our Black Rum as the base in place of the traditional rye or bourbon whiskey. But we think why not break the rules when it’s this much fun?
If you haven’t ever tasted our black rum, you’re in for a treat. It’s precisely distilled, then infused with a generous amount of raw blackstrap molasses. Finally, it’s subtly flavored with clove, anise and other spices.
Steel Tie Spirits Black Old Fashioned:
- 4 parts Black Rum
- 1 part orange liqueur (Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
- 1 part cognac
- 1 part simple syrup
Stir, strain, garnish & serve over a large ice cube.
